No. We are an advertising and discovery platform only. Every product you see belongs to an independent farmer or seller, and every sale is agreed directly between the buyer and that seller.

No. We do not own, operate or manage any farm. Farms listed on the platform are independent businesses that advertise with us.

Is it available nationwide?

Yes. Farmers from every Nigerian state can list on the platform and buyers can search by state and city. Coverage is naturally deeper in areas where more farmers have joined, and it grows every week.

Do I need an account to buy?

No. Browsing listings, viewing farm profiles and contacting sellers are all free and need no account. Accounts are only required for sellers who want to advertise.

How do I contact sellers?

Open any listing and use the WhatsApp or Call button. Your message goes straight to the farmer — we do not sit in the middle of the conversation.

How do I search by location?

Use the state and city filters on the Marketplace page, or search a place name in the search bar. Listings show the farm's location so you can pick sellers close to you.

How do I know a seller is genuine?

Look for the verification badge on the listing and farm profile. A Verified Farmer has passed identity, phone and farm checks described in our Trust Center. Still do your own due diligence: ask questions, request recent photos, and prefer inspection before payment.

Should I inspect before payment?

Yes, whenever possible. Inspect the birds, eggs or produce — or send someone you trust — before you pay. Avoid full upfront payment to a seller you have never dealt with, and never pay anyone claiming to collect money on our behalf.

Can I negotiate prices?

Yes. Prices shown are set by the farmer and are usually negotiable, especially for bulk orders. Agree the final price, quantity and delivery terms directly with the seller.

What if I have problems with a seller?

Use the Report button on the listing or farm profile to tell us what happened. We review every report and can suspend or remove sellers who break our rules. We cannot recover money or enforce a private agreement, so please report early.

Who can advertise?

Any legitimate Nigerian poultry farmer, hatchery, egg supplier or poultry-product trader with real stock to sell. You must be able to describe your farm accurately and be reachable by phone or WhatsApp.

Yes. Creating a seller account and publishing standard listings is free during this phase. Optional paid placements such as featured listings and banner adverts are separate.

Can I upload multiple listings?

Yes. Create one listing per distinct product — for example broilers, layers, day-old chicks and crates of eggs — so buyers can find exactly what they need.

Why was my listing rejected?

Common reasons are unclear or borrowed photos, missing or unrealistic prices, incomplete descriptions, duplicate posts, wrong category, or prohibited items. Your dashboard shows the reason so you can fix it and resubmit.

Can I edit listings?

Yes. Edit price, quantity, photos and availability any time from your dashboard. Significant edits may be reviewed again before they go live.

What is a Verified Farmer?

A Verified Farmer has completed our checks: confirmed identity document, a matching selfie, a working phone and WhatsApp number, and confirmed farm location and photos. Verified farms carry a green badge across the marketplace.

Verified farms win more enquiries. You get the trust badge on every listing, better placement in search results, and eligibility for featured placements and future premium seller programmes.

What documents are required?

A valid government-issued ID (NIN slip, driver's licence, voter's card or passport), a selfie for matching, your active phone and WhatsApp number, and photos plus the location of your farm. Documents are stored privately and are only visible to you and our review staff.

Most submissions are reviewed within 1–3 working days. If something is unclear we ask for more information, and you are notified in your dashboard at every step.

Can verification be revoked?

Yes. Verification can be withdrawn if documents turn out to be false, if your contact details stop working, or if confirmed reports show fraud or repeated rule breaches.

What are Featured Listings?

Featured Listings are paid placements that lift a listing to the top of the marketplace, category pages and the homepage for an agreed period. They are clearly labelled as sponsored.

Does Poultry to Table handle payments?

No. We never collect, hold or process payments. Buyers pay sellers directly. Anyone asking you to pay Poultry to Table for a product is attempting fraud — report it immediately.

Not at this stage. There is no escrow, buyer protection or refund scheme on the platform, so agree payment terms carefully and prefer inspection or staged payment.

No. Delivery, transport and handling are arranged between the buyer and the seller. Confirm who pays for logistics and who carries the risk in transit before you commit.

No. We verify sellers and moderate listings, but we are not a party to any sale and cannot guarantee quality, delivery or outcome. Verification reduces risk; it does not remove it.

No. Photos must be of your own birds, eggs or products. Stock or borrowed images mislead buyers and get listings rejected.

Yes. Contact support from the email address on your account and ask for deletion. We remove your listings and profile, keeping only records we are required to retain.

What products are prohibited?

Diseased or dying birds, uninspected products from a disease outbreak, protected or wild species, banned veterinary drugs, stolen livestock, and anything unrelated to poultry and poultry products.

Only if you are an authorised agent for the farm and say so clearly in the listing. Posting another farm's stock or photos as your own is not allowed.

Depending on severity we may unpublish the listing, remove your verification badge, suspend the account, or ban it permanently and report serious fraud to the authorities.

Go to the login page and choose the password reset option. We email you a secure link — open it on the same device and set a new password.

Check that the file is a JPG, PNG or WebP under 5 MB and that you have a stable connection. If it still fails, try a smaller photo or another browser, then contact support with the error you see.
